Youth Lead Non-Government Organization (NGO)

Inspire Better Education Tanzania (IBET) is a youth-led Non-Government Organization (NGO), established in 2021 and registered under the Tanzanian NGO Act No. 24 of 2002, with registration number ooNGO/R/2702. Our organization is still evolving, committed and dedicated to addressing the critical challenges facing youth in the education sector in Tanzania, by Inspiring and empowering youth and mobilizing resources for impactful and sustainable change, such as gender justice, lack of access to quality education and technology, lack of career pathways guidance, lack of access of quality information for the future workforce, the miss-matching gape of skills and many more challenges.

IBET is committed to promote, improve better education in Tanzania and ensure provision of sustainable solutions to problem facing education in Tanzania particularly public schools, University and community at large.

Our approach is research, advocacy, empowerment and creating awareness through appropriate campaigns, projects. We are open to cooperate and partner with various stakeholders and community to achieve our mission and vision.

Youth live in a rapid changing world, faced with many pressures. They face challenges such as lack of support from the community, peer group influence, gender based violence, illiteracy, ignorance, lack of access to education and technological advancement, lack of career pathways guidance, lack of access of quality information, miss matching gape of skills, and behavioral change, sense of hopelessness and inequality on.

IBET is committed to partner to identify these challenges and plan proper intervention through engaging various actors.

Addressing Climate Justice and Sustainability – To engage young people in climate education, environmental awareness, and sustainability initiatives to build resilience against climate change.

Advising and Collaborating with the Government – To provide policy recommendations and strategic insights to the government on improving the education sector in Tanzania
